I started my first apprenticeship when I was 16 years old. My teacher was a straightforward person who believed in hard work and respect. He taught me all the basics of tattooing and so much more. He showed me to learn from watching other artists and how to treat every customer with respect and care, to guide them to an artistic design, even if their own idea might lack inspiration at first.
“Tattooing is ritualistic to me. The skin, the touching of it, the blood & pain and the beauty and reward. They all interact with eachother.”
