As I sit down to write my very first blog post, a rush of emotions sweeps over me – excitement, anticipation, and perhaps a hint of apprehension. You see, I’ve always been something of a perfectionist when it comes to my work, and that includes the words I choose to share with you today. But I’ve come to realize that there’s no perfect way to begin, only the courage to start. So, here we are.

This inaugural post marks the commencement of a journey we’ll embark on together. It offers a glimpse into my world as an artist, photographer, tattoo artist, and designer.

In the realm of art, where brushstrokes breathe with emotion and photographs freeze the essence of fleeting moments, allow me to introduce myself – I’m Jasmina Kirsch. My artistic journey is a voyage into the depths of the human experience, an enchanting ode to the profound beauty found in the ephemeral nature of life.

I was born on December 22, 1985, in the picturesque town of Alfeld/Leine, Germany. My artistic odyssey began as a childhood fascination, a passion that would go on to shape my path forever.
In 2004, at the age of 17, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery that led me to the Netherlands. There, I undertook various roles to support my studies, ultimately earning the title of a tattoo artist. Concurrently, I immersed myself in the world of fine arts from 2006 to 2010.

Today, my work pays homage to the profound beauty found in the transience of life, exploring themes of femininity, mortality, and the primal depths of human emotions. Skeletons and other symbols often grace my canvases, not as portrayals of aging, but as poignant reminders of life’s fragility.

In my photographic artistry, I capture life as I experience it – at times bewildering, often rugged, but always brimming with raw, unfiltered beauty.
